Happy Holloween

I know it has been a long time last I posted but our world has been very crazy. I hope to post more often but let me get you updated on what has been going on. So We went to Provincetown at the beginning of the summer, I had a wonderful time walking all over the place, Kismet, mommie and her friend were very tired when we got back to the room, not me I got carried for the last few miles of the trip. Mommie should have gotten us a pedicab to go back to our hotel I guess she will remember next time. The Summer was great, we when to the beach a few times, when and visited mommies friends, and had some great puppy group play with our friends at Best Friends Resort in Ashland MA, they have a puppy play group once a month that mommie takes us to. So I would like to post a few pictures from todays Holloween party.

So we have a few pictures from today.

Mommie says she has a busy month ahead of her and she is doing something called National Novel Writing Month and that the “write-ins” take place at Libraries and coffee shops so we can’t always go with her. Darn I like coffee she knows it I take her’s when she forgets about it. Anyway she also said that she will be working on her computer at home so I will be able to get on it once in a while to post and maybe she will even take some more pictures of us. She also told us that she had to go away for a couple of weekends this month. I hate when she goes away without us, but she said we would be bored so we are staying with our friends at Best Friends Resort in Ashland Ma., when she does. They just love us there, of course I am a goofe ball when I am there. Oh my sister she wants me to say that she is getting better at playing with other dogs, she doesn’t bark as much around them and she is playing a little too, OK RIGHT. Mommie went to some kind of fancy party to raise money for animals who are homeless, she looked very pretty in her Cinderella dress but she didn’t have any pictures taken, there is a time when I need to learn how to use that camera thingy. Anyway she had a good time didn’t get home to very late and she said they raised a lot of money for poor animals here is the info on the ball. She goes to a lot of these things, she not only loves us but loves all animals. Well smell you later, keep warm.

Wow have we had fun lately

Dear Diary,

We have had so much fun these last few weeks. Weekend before last we went to visit mommy’s friend Sandi. She has a new home and we wanted to go see Lucy the cat again. Mommy said we had to be good because Lucy was still trying to like her new place. It was a long ride in the car, we went by the airport in Boston, that’s what mom said anyway. I got sick in the car, hmmm not much fun. But when we got to Sandi’s house we had one of our first new adventures. Mommy called it an elevator, it look like to me a new room. Olivia did not like it at all, she tried to stop herself from going into it but mommy just picked her up. Sandi greeted us at her door, she was so happy to see us. She gave us treats. So here are some of the pictures from our visit.

Mommy and Sandi were doing the Argentina Tango so we got in the dance too. Sandi dances so well we had so much fun watching mommy and Sandi dance. They should dance some more.

Then we all sat on Sandi’s new sofa. Sandi and mommy watched a movie, I am not sure what it was because me and Olivia got to snuggle under a blanket near mommy and we went to sleep.

This past weekend mommy said was Valentine Weekend and we were going to do a travel review of the Westin Hotel in Providence. Here are a few pictures of our visit. Tomorrow we will review the hotel. So until tomorrow this is Kismet signing off for me and my sister Olivia.

Dear Diary,

Sorry it has been so long since the last time we posted but we have been so busy. Let see where to start. Ok first Kismet was running around and caught her leg in my cage. Oh she did cry. Mommy took her to the Vet to have her leg check, it was a ok just may have twisted it. But because we are puppies and still growing we may “break a leg running around like monkeys” that’s what mommy said.

Then we went together about a week later to the Vet for our second set of shots. I was the brave one and didn’t cry. Everyone at the Vet office loves us but of course why wouldn’t they? I found a box of milk bone bones and helped myself as mommy and the ladies at the vet were talking. Kismet cried a little with her shot but we both got the bones. I am still not sure about this vet thing everyone is so nice but we do get shots that hurt. Well have to reserve my opinon on that place.

After we went to the vet mommy took us up to her friend Colleen’s house. I like mommy’s friend Colleen. Colleen’s cat Pandy doesn’t like to play, I tried to get her to play with me but all she did was hit me with her paws. Mommy said I was lucky because she had no claws.

Mommy has been very busy the days she can’t take us with her I am not really sure what she is doing but it’s always great to have her come home. I love my mommy. Mommy says we have to go to puppy training classes because we have a little issue. We fight well Kismet starts it and I just defend myself. So soon we will be going to classes to be better citizens. Lastly the other night we meet two policemen, and two EMTs. They came to the house early in the morning because papa was not feeling too good. He went away with them in a big red truck with red lights on it. He was gone for a whole week. He came home day before yesterday. He now lets us spend time with him in his room. Yesterday we fell asleep with him on his bed for a few hours. Here is the proof:

I am reporting from my home where a grave happening has gone on today. Let me set this up for you. We are two young italian greyhounds who come from a warm state called Texas. We have been in this cold state called Massachusetts for little over 1 month. We have learned to walk on leashes, play the monkey food game, and on so many other things I will have to update you later on. Dear Diary,

I want to tell you a little about myself, my name is Kismet and I am the good girl. My sister Olivia is the crazy one. I am the good one, I give snuggles with Pappa when he wakes up, I am share my toys with my sister, she is aways taking them away from me, I also give mommy kisses only when she wants them. I am smaller then my sister but good things come in small packages, that is what my mommy says anyway. I eat my fruits and veggies, I love carrots, and banana chips, sometimes mommy gives us chicken that is just great, I jump for joy for that. I am a little shy, my sister will greet anyone one but I am still not sure of everyone. So if you meet me go slow I am shy. That’s it for now from me. Mommy says we are doing so many wonderful things in 2010 I can’t wait.
